Breakthroughs in treatment
“Treatments in the foot and ankle realm are constantly evolving. Incisions are getting smaller and the ability to restore function continues to improve. One of the places that is most evident is with cartilage regeneration. The ability to replace chipped or fractured cartilage to help prevent bone-on-bone disease or end stage arthritis has made significant strides and has been an area I have especially been focused in. There are numerous procedures where even 5-10 years ago patients were on crutches for 6+ weeks and now are walking in a few days to 2 weeks.”
