Eileen Scott, PA-CHand & Upper Extremity

Eileen Scott, PA-C
Works in Suffolk and Harbour View.

Eileen, a native of the Philadelphia suburbs, resides in Suffolk with her husband and two boys. She earned her undergraduate degree at James Madison University and completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Seton Hall University where she served as the president of her class. She moved to Virginia with her husband in 2010 to start her career as a physician assistant.

Eileen grew up always wanting to be in medicine, always claiming that she never wanted a “desk job.” Orthopedic surgery, specifically the hand specialty is of particular interest to Eileen as it is often a puzzle and brings unique challenges as it merges principles of plastic surgery, neurology, and orthopedics. She finds satisfaction in watching patients be alleviated from pain and correcting deformities and trauma. She enjoys the challenge and loves that no day is ever quite the same.

Eileen has over a decade of orthopedic experience with SMOC. She appreciates the values, honesty, tradition, and dedication that SMOC offers its employees, patients, and community. Eileen has experience working with several of SMOC’s hand surgeons both current and retired. She participates in performing sports physicals for several local high schools and middle schools. Eileen enjoys running, biking, spending time with her family, cleaning (yes, cleaning), and traveling when she can.
